I don't understand the reviews that complain about the price and size. It's pretty good compared to Copa or Gloucester, which are in the same area of town and in my view are about the same price or higher and not any better. The quality is definitely better than your normal HK cafe. The specials usually offer very good value. I had a steak lunch special for around $16 and it was better than the chewy steaks at the Keg.

An attempt to elevate HK cafe food that sadly is overpriced and simply doesn't taste all that good. Their food is average at best, but their prices are 50% higher than most other HK cafes. They don't have a particularly good selection either.
It's clean and bright inside and I'm sure there are enough wealthy regulars to keep this place afloat, but I don't feel that this place will ever get all that busy. The menu and prices are pretentious and a desperate attempt to be different for the sake of being different. I ordered a $15 curry chicken that was too spicy, had a plain tasting sauce, and overcooked chicken. The service was lackluster and not appropriate for a restaurant that wants to push an elevated dining experience. -

Glad to have better HK style café in my neighborhood. It's related to Amigo Richmond.
I prefer quality rather than quantity. Mandarin HK café served a bit better ingredients than other but the portion of dish just a bit small.
I like this place coz they have a big parking lot and I can go Safeway for groceries shopping after lunch. -

Been here twice and the place never fails me
Hong Kong cafe style restaurant but very clean, service is always excellent,A big place and always busy, multi cultural clientele but of coarse mostly are asian and chinese.
Not a typical hong-kongers cafe, pricing is a bit more in here but for me you always pay for what you are getting.
my recent visit to the place was a dinner, from my friend place in west 42nd i dropped by the place to get a big meal and my cravings really is chinese foods, when i am browsing the menu i decided to try the paella. The server told me the waiting time is almost 20 minutes,i am hungry but this one really appeals on taste buds so i waited.
It is worth the wait,it is a delicious sea food paella, very rich flavor with big shrimps ,clams etc,the rice tasted perfect for me.excellent meal for a super hungry like me.
The place is located along king Edward with other restaurants and other businesses sharing the big parking lot.Just for information there are two kinds of parking with in...one is 2 hours and the other one is 20 or 30 minutes only so be careful a lot of people got the ticket already.
Clean simple place, decors are minimal, sometimes less is better, clean tables and chairs.
Service is excellent chinese servers here speak good english....somewhat amazing in vancouver chinese restaurants.
they have tv and ,wifi free,Wash room is clean, busy place but the noise level is average,
i would say it is best for group and family, good for kids
Accept cards and cash
definitely i will be visiting again with friends.
